been super busy helping my friend take care of her dogs and the litter of 9 puppies the female dog just had. We're on week five and the little pooping machines are soooo damn cute. But on the bright side my friend left for the week on a camping vacation so I get the whole house to myself which means LOTS OF ART TIME! wOOt! Currently waiting for ink to dry so I can finish up the hand made thank you cards I'm sending to all my friends who came to my show in June. Better late then never, right? Then I need to finish spray gessoing the panels I built for the commission I'm still working on. Good thing I was thinking ahead when I took it and told the woman because of puppies on the way at the time I wouldn't be able to get it done until the end of August. But its going to be done in oils so I have to get crackin.

Because of the puppies I wasn't able to get my entry to Kick Your Own @ss contest done :big sad face: But since I started the painting I'm likely to finish in the future which will be cool. I could use the practice anyways. :grins:


Hurray my list is getting shorter...but there are a few small things that I didn't bother to put on...like the thank you cards I'm working on and a drawing of my brother that I promised my mother years ago...
